    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

    What is casein?

There are several different types of protein powders used in supplements, but two types of protein have stood the test of time, casein and whey. Though both are derived from milk (dairy-based), they differ greatly.

Your body absorbs casein protein slower than whey protein, therefore casein digests slower (keeps you feeling fuller for longer). The difference in absorption rate makes casein protein a great choice for the morning, night time or anytime protein snack.

On the other hand, because your body digests and absorbs whey protein much quicker, whey protein makes the perfect choice around your workouts as it will kickstart muscle repair and the rebuild process.

How do I use Custard Protein?

Snack: Add 2 scoops in 90 - 100 mL of cold water or milk. Mix thoroughly in a bowl, blender or shaker for smooth dessert style custard.

Mixing Tips: To ensure the consistency is to your liking, start by adding 90 - 100 mL of cold water or milk to the mixture while stirring (for 2 scoops). Slowly add more water or milk if a thinner consistency is desired. Ensure the powder is mixed through completely before adding more liquid.

Try It Warm: Mix as per the instructions above. Microwave for 30 seconds for a warm treat.

Freeze it: Freeze for 15 - 60 mins depending on your desired consistency for a cold treat.

Optional Mix-ins: Try adding some optional mix-ins to add texture and extra flavour. Examples include crushed up cookies, choc chips, fruit and more!
