Care Guide

From buttery leggings to acid-wash tees, here's how to keep every piece feeling brand new — for longer.

The six essentials

Get these right and almost everything we make will last for years. The rest is detail.

  • 01

    Turn them inside out

Protects the finish and stops pilling where your skin rubs. Two seconds now, years of life later.

  • 02

    Cold wash, gentle cycle

Heat is the enemy of stretch and colour. Cold water keeps the fibres tight and the dye locked in.

  • 03

Zip it in a wash bag

Saves your seams from zips, bra clips and Velcro snags. The single best habit for sculpting fabrics.

  • 04

    Skip softener & bleach

Both break down the elastane that gives our gear its squat-proof stretch. A little detergent is plenty.

  • 05

    Air dry in the shade

Never the dryer, never direct sun. Lay flat or hang in a breezy spot and they'll bounce back to shape.

  • 06

    Wash after every sweaty wear

Sweat left to sit breaks fabric down and traps odour. Dry them off, then give them a wash before the next session.

MN mesh wash bag

Your leggings' best friend

A mesh wash bag is the single easiest way to protect seams, scrunch and finish in the machine. We made one for exactly this.

Care that lasts

  • Wash cold, save energy

Up to 90% of a wash's energy goes to heating water. Cold washing slashes that — and is gentler on your gear.

  • Air dry, skip the dryer

Line drying uses zero energy and doubles the life of stretch fabrics. The dryer is the fastest way to wear them out.

  • Make them last

The most sustainable garment is the one you already own. Good care means fewer replacements and less landfill.

  • Recycle, don't bin

When a piece is truly done, drop it at a textile-recycling point rather than the bin. Our Everyday line is made from recycled fibres.

Know when it's time

When to retire a pair

Even the best-cared-for gear has a lifespan. Here's how to tell when it's run its race.

01

The stretch is gone

If your leggings sag at the knees or waist and won't bounce back, the elastane has given out.

02

They've turned sheer

Thinning or see-through patches mean the knit has worn down — time for a fresh pair.

03

Odour won't wash out

Bacteria trapped deep in worn fibres can't be washed away. A permanent smell is the signal.

04

Pilling & snags everywhere

Surface pilling and pulls that no longer brush off mean the fabric face is spent.
