Protein Apple Crumble

Ingredients

  • 1 Serve (40g) Apple Crumble Custard Plant Protein
  • 80g Oats
  • 40g of Rolled Oats
  • 1tbsp of Sweetener
  • 1tsp of Cinnamon
  • 35g of Butter or Coconut Oil
  • 1tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 90-100ml Water or Milk of your choice

Method

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180°C
  2. Spray a small ramekin dish and set aside
  3. Blend 80g of oats to make a flour
  4. In a large bowl, add the oat flour, rolled oats, sweetener, cinnamon, butter and vanilla essence and combine
  5. Place ¾ of the crumble mixture into the ramekin dish and press down firmly to make a base
  6. Place in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown
  7. While the base is cooking, in a bowl combine water or milk of choice with the Apple Crumble Plant Custard powder and mix together until it creates a custard, set aside
  8. Remove base from oven and pour custard mixture over the base
  9. Top with remaining crumble and bake for a further 5 to 10 minutes or until top is golden brown and crunchy
  10. Enjoy!
