Protein Cinnamon Tart

An easy, vegan snack with a delicious cinnamon taste. This Protein Cinnamon Tart is made using our CUSTARD Plant Protein - Cinnamon Churros and is the perfect snack or dessert!

Ingredients

  • 40g Oats
  • 35g Sugar free maple syrup
  • 10g Nuttalex
  • 1 date (chopped up finely)
  • 2 Scoops MN CUSTARD Plant Protein - Cinnamon Churros
  • 100ml Water

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180
  2. Blend oats in a blender to create a fine powder
  3. In a bowl, add the blended oats, chopped date, nuttalex and maple syrup together and combine until you get a biscuit base consistency
  4. In a greased tart tray, press the mixture in and press up the sides of the mould to create the base
  5. Bake base in the oven for 10-15 minutes
  6. Remove the base from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes
  7. In a separate bowl mix together the Cinnamon Churros Custard Powder with your choice of milk/water and mix together until a Custard forms.
  8. Add custard into the tart tray and place in the freezer for 20 minutes
  9. Remove tart from the freezer and enjoy
