Luke has been part of the Muscle Nation family for almost two years. He works in our Warehouse Team, packing and sending out orders on the daily. In the early hours of the morning on Sunday 21 February 2021, Luke completed a 60km run around Uluru to raise awareness and funds for mental health.
He powered through the blistering heat and completed his run in 7 hours, 43 minutes and 52 seconds - smashing his original goal of 9 hours. He clocked a total of 70,000 steps and finished the run at 10:45am ACST (11:15am AEST).
From the beginning, Luke has strived for a donation goal of $30,000, with all funds going to ReachOut - the most accessed online mental health resource for young people and their parents in Australia.
Muscle Nation is donating $10,000, to help Luke achieve his donation goal. We also created him a customised MN Men's Long Sleeve Running Top which he wore on the day of the run. We are honoured to have been able to support Luke with his personal goal, and contribute to ReachOut to help those Australians in need of support.
